The Florida Gators are the NCAA National Champions!

What a season! What a tournament! What a finish!

The Florida Gators are once again kings of college basketball, bringing home the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship! After an incredible season and a nail-biting tournament run, the Gators sealed the deal in a heart-stopping final against the Houston Cougars.

Down by double digits in the second half, the Gators showed the heart of a champion, clawing their way back in a tense defensive battle. When the final buzzer sounded in the Alamodome, it was Florida on top, 65-63, capturing the program's third national title and the first since the legendary back-to-back wins of 2006 and 2007. From the crucial win against Auburn in the Final Four to the final defensive stand against Houston, Coach Todd Golden and the entire squad left everything on the court.

The roar from Gainesville could probably be heard throughout the state of Florida! Gator Nation is buzzing, and rightfully so. This team fought hard all season long, peaked at the perfect time, and gave fans a championship run they'll never forget.
